CCHC-Foxwynd Foundation DAF partnership
CCHC is Proud to Partner with the Foxwynd Foundation Donor-Advised Fund!
The Clarkston Community Health Center (CCHC) is thrilled to announce a generous $25,000 grant from the Foxwynd Foundation donor-advised fund. The Foxwynd Foundation DAF will be used to support CCHC’s work to provide healthcare to uninsured individuals in the community. This new partnership will save lives, save money, and maximize the impact of this philanthropic investment.

The Foxwynd Foundation’s mission is to act as a lifeline for communities in need by enhancing access to key pillars of human dignity and potential such as healthcare, housing, and sustainable development. This mission aligns perfectly with CCHC’s mission to provide people of diverse means and backgrounds a place where they can receive the compassionate high-quality care that every human deserves.

These missions are aligned very clearly with an urgent need in our community: the latest data show that over 100,000 uninsured individuals in DeKalb County, Georgia, have nowhere to turn for access to healthcare. In a state that has the third highest rate of uninsured individuals in the country, the need for accessible, affordable care has never been greater. We know from research that providing access to primary care saves lives and saves money. For every $1 spent on primary care, $13 is saved in downstream healthcare costs. And whenever you increase access to primary care around the world, life expectancy goes up.

With these funds, CCHC will be able to deliver on our goal to increase access to healthcare for uninsured individuals in our community. This generous gift is an example of how philanthropy can create exponential impact - saving lives, while also saving money for us all in our healthcare system.
